The Association of Clinical Research Professionals provides certification, resources, and guidance for thousands of professionals. They partnered with The Web Development Group to reorganize their resources on a content management system that gave them the flexibility to control how they promote their offerings. As the technical lead, Mike worked with the ACRP team to provide guidance on how a WordPress site with custom-built features could make their team more efficient and give their teams more control over content organization across the site for future endeavors undertaken by the organization.
BoardSource
BoardSource’s mission is to inspire and support excellence in nonprofit governance and board and staff leadership. They partnered with The Web Development Group to make it easier to promote and distribute their wide variety of materials and build an online presence that would exemplify their rebrand. As the technical lead, Mike guided the Marketing and Information Technology teams at BoardSource towards a solution built on WordPress that would be visually striking and fulfill the need to deliver this content to members easily through Abila.
Flight Safety Foundation
Flight Safety Foundation is an organization with a staunch leadership and wide path of influence in the aviation world. They partnered with The Web Development Group to solidify their status as knowledge leaders in aviation safety online, providing their unique expertise to mobilize the large network of aviation professionals to improve the safety universally. As the technical lead, Mike consulted with the Flight Safety Foundation team to make recommendations to improve their web presence, make their marketing efforts more efficient and effective, and integrate their variety of partners and services into a single experience using WordPress.
Folger Shakespeare Library
The Folger Shakespeare Library is a prominent institution in Washington, DC with the world’s largest collection of materials related to Shakespeare and his works in and around the time of Shakespeare’s life. They partnered with The Web Development Group to reimagine the possibilities of an arts, scholastic, and research organization online. The partnership resulted in a wide variety of projects centering around the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death, including the main website, a tour of the First Folio, an online exhibition called Shakespeare Documented, the World Shakespeare Bibliography, a kiosk showcasing the First Folio, and more. As the technical lead, Mike coordinated with the Folger team to ensure projects built on WordPress and Drupal met the evolving needs of the Folger organization. The results allowed the organization to garner local and national media attention, serve thousands of visitors, and expand their resources for scholars, educators, students, theatre-goers, and more.
